A. Poythress is in their second year at Columbia College Chicago working towards an MFA in creative writing/fiction. They primarily write horror and fantasy stories about queer folk and women, although sometimes they write overly personal creative non-fiction, too.

When they're not writing, they're usually working on carving lino blocks to reproduce the creepy things they envision on a day-to-day basis. They hope to incorporate their prints with their fiction in their upcoming thesis/manuscript.
